# Heal

Heal connects to Apple Watch for real-time HRV monitoring during sessions. Music is selected and sequenced using the Iso Principle, a clinically validated music therapy technique that matches music to the listener's current physiological state and gradually guides them toward a target state (calmer, more focused, or ready for sleep). After each session, users see how their nervous system responded, tracking shifts in HRV over time.

The app supports three autonomic intents: regulate (stress and anxiety reduction), sleep (wind-down and deep sleep support), and active (post-workout recovery and energising). Breathwork protocols are layered into sessions to stimulate the vagus nerve, which helps reduce cortisol, lower inflammation, and regulate the autonomic nervous system. This vagal tone improvement is measurable in real time through HRV shifts captured by Apple Watch during each session. Retroactive enrichment data from Oura, Whoop, Garmin, and Fitbit is also supported.

Heal was founded by Anthony Hannides, a Billboard number one songwriter and producer with over 10 billion streams and credits including Drake, Zayn Malik, Lil Wayne, Rita Ora, Craig David, and Mabel. The founding team combines music industry, clinical wellbeing, AI, and iOS engineering expertise from Google and Nvidia.
